Why Move To Malta?
A small rock in the middle of the Mediterranean, off the South coast of Sicily, Malta is a beautiful island with a rich and interesting history.
Boasting a national health service, English as an official language and Western culture combined with scorching heat for most of the year, it is a natural choice for expatriates, or expats, looking for a new ‘home from home’ in the sun.

Who Can Move to Malta?
In recent times, Malta has also become a popular destination for cross-national couples unable to reside in their home countries due to tight visa regulations. As part of the Schengen Agreement, EU nationals and their family members/spouses are granted Freedom of Movement in and out of Malta.
Those without an EU passport will however require a Schengen Visa to gain entry.
So I Can Live In Malta.. But Can I Work?
If you are an EU national (which as of now still includes the UK, despite Brexit), or the family member of one, you have the right to live and work in Malta. The jobs market is diverse, and offers plenty of opportunities.
Where Should I Live In Malta ?
The coast, the countryside, the town centre – the choice is yours! Malta is a very diverse place – there’s bound to be somewhere that’s perfect for you.
